HIDEKI MATSUYAMA COMES OFF VICTORIOUS IN THE BAHAMAS

For Hideki Matsuyama, the year has been quite a good one, and the end of the year, just perfect!

He had started out the year with a victory in the Japan Open at home, while rounding it off with another trophy against a short but strong field in the Bahamas. In five tournaments, he has so far come off with four victories.

In the HSBC Champions and the Taiheiyo Masters, the 24 year old Japanese star had come off with seven-shot victories. And going into the final round at the Albany Golf Club, he had a seven shot lead over Henrik Stenson.

After the ninth hole, he was unable to make another birdie and so got his lead reduced to two shots. He had two more holes to play and thus closed with two pars for a -1-over 73 and a two-shot victory.

“I can’t say that I played well today,” he said. “But I did win Tiger’s tournament, and what a great honor it is.” Continue reading “HIDEKI MATSUYAMA COMES OFF VICTORIOUS IN THE BAHAMAS”

Jason Dufner Takes Break From Polo

Jason Dufner, Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas shocked everyone by taking group outing on Monday.

They planned this outing to take a break from professional golf. And you will be surprised to know what they did in outing. Well, they played mini golf. This is how these golfers relaxed.

Playing golf is a fun and it is my bit relaxing, but is true only when the game is played taking it just a game rather with an objective of winning it. The professional golf is not like normal golf that is played for fun. This is the golf that makes career of a player; golfers earn their livelihood from professional golf. And thus, while playing professional golfers has to go through a lot of pressure.

And think what would be the condition of the player who is playing for the entire week or month. Jason Dufner, Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas too got tired with their hectic schedule and thus decided to take a break from it. Monday outing was part that break. However, for players this break was from pressure and challenge; not the game, because, in the break these winners played mini golf. Continue reading “Jason Dufner Takes Break From Polo”

Adam Scott Eyeing US Masters & World # 1 Crowns

Adam Scott seems to be in quite a charged state of late. The dapper Aussie golfer is liking the tender green pastures before him & is excited to get back to his long putter time.

In fact, Scott is so confident that he is not only focused on winning US Masters but is also looking forward to dominate this entire season.

“I am not here just for throwing balls up & see where these fall”, remarked the Australian golfer.

Adam was naturally discontent with his performance last year as he could only triumph in one single tournament in 2014. These days he is all set to ablaze the courses with glory & is eager to win back his #1 world ranking.

“We do not find many golfers winning huge & my next challenge is to be among those few guys who actually win in most of the matches. This is my biggest challenge this year”, Scott looks pretty determined to revive his previous winning glory in 2015.

“I am looking forward to challenge the #1 spot. It is that I am eager to put forward my level best that will enable me to come up with highest possible performance.”

At this moment, he is concentrated mostly on his long putter. Continue reading “Adam Scott Eyeing US Masters & World # 1 Crowns”

Clarke backs McIlroy at Augusta

Darren Clarke knows quite well that what it takes to become victorious in a major championship. The recently-minted European Ryder Cup leader thinks that Rory McIlroy has everything to take home a green jacket.

Recently, while speaking to BBC Radio, Clarke said that his match is ideally suited to Augusta, a high soft draw, and as they have all seen, he’s got every shot in the bag so there is no reason why he’s not going to win around there sooner rather than later.
