How to Spa

Where do I check in for my appointment?
Please check in at The Spa front desk. You will be escorted to the locker room where you can enjoy the spa ritual of steam, sauna and whirlpool before your treatment.

What do I need to bring?
Bathing suits are required for Hydrotherapy Massage and the soaking tub treatments. When you check in you will receive a spa wardrobe of robe, slippers, towels and a locker for your personal belongings. Please do not bring valuables to The Spa.

Spa Tips

Prior to selecting a treatment, follow these tips to receive the full benefits of a Massage:

Take time
Give yourself plenty of time so you can enjoy the steam, sauna or whirlpool prior to your services. This will relax and warm the muscles, which will aid in the therapeutic benefits of massage.

Shower
A quick shower just before your massage is relaxing and washes off any salts, minerals or chemicals that could clog pores when mixed with massage oils. Your therapist will pick you up from the locker room waiting area.

Treatment attire
Unless the service description specifies otherwise, it is customary to wear just your robe to your service. You will be given the opportunity to disrobe and cover yourself in privacy. Throughout your services, your body will be draped with linens for modesty. At no time should you be fully exposed.

Communicate
Before your massage begins, tell your therapist the areas you would like to focus on, and any areas to be avoided. During your massage, let the therapist know if you feel any discomfort. Communication is the key to getting what you want out of your massage. Keep in mind that bodywork is similar to exercise in that, lactic acid and other toxins are released from the muscles may cause some soreness for up to a few days.

Relax
Close your eyes and allow your mind and body to be free. Focus on how you feel. Breathe deeply and let the tension slip away with each breath. Remember, this time is for you.
